Can someone please give me some hints at removing the inner bearings from the front hub of a late 8N? I've tryed just about everything exept a ten pound slug hammer and can't seem to move them. Just wondering if there is some kind of secret to get them out. Any insight is appreciated.

are you talking about the bearing cups? if the bearings themselves dont just fall out there is some big problem. The grease seal, if there is one left, should just pry out and the bearing falls out. Now the cup is a diffenent story. I used a drift and a 2 pound hammer to drive it out.
