I was about to respond to you Zane in another post but thought that might be out of line. Looks like I'm going to be diggin in the tranny here soon and after checking out another post and following the link, I found the info about Live PTO that you got. I'm real interested. Could you send me some additional info or link for more? Also, is there any way, economiclly to get the lift to work without being off the clutch? It sure would be handy.

Thanks

Sounds like the Live thang is just what I'm looking for. PTO being live isn't a big deal right now since I don't even have anything that hooks up to it. Would like to finda cement mixer and later a finish mower though.third party image

Wouldn't have a link for more info for the Live thang would ya?

Not sure if you are trying to assemble both a live pto and a live lift on an N.. however the live pto would require a fairly rare piece of hardware to be added in.

The live lift is much easier.. Zane builds a kit called a 'live thang',,,to make your 3pt work any time the engine is turning.. clutch or no clutch.... also lets you run a remote if you want one, for an extra expense.. etc.
