The big rear spring is loose out back of seat, One of the best tips i have got from ZANE "If it still won't begin to lift when the touch control is moved to it's full up position you can then use my old trick to attain enough forward positioning of the internal draft link by again removing the anchor plate that is held with the three bolts and then fashioning a shim from a 5/8" flat washer that you have made a notch in to accommodate the dowel pin in the anchor plate that keeps the draft plunger rod from turning when the yoke is turned when installing or removing" This means remove the big spring and make the shim, all can B done from the out side. Does the lift work when you manually move the control lever were it fits into the pump. If not the control valve is stuck, pry on the control leaver and see if you can unstuck it. ether way slack in the big spring outback will throw it out were it will not work. Its extremely important to have that part rite. Its one of the first adjustments Zane sends with the instructions with his adjustment JIG. The tips that come with the jig are priceless.
