Okie,
Did you make one from scratch or using an official one? Maybe you can post a picture of this baby! Zane, from Al., posted about the jig some time ago. If I remember right it has notches in it that the end of the control arm drops into when the lift cover is adjusted right. My guess is that the jig provides a sort of reference for where the rocker arm on the pump is, when the lift cover is on the tractor. You would attach it to the bottom of the lift cover then move the touch control lever and see when it drops into the notch. One notch for position control and one for draft. Again this is just a guess. I've never used or seen one before.
