I have one of those red cheapo floor jacks - it has oil in it but no matter how much I pump the thing does not go up. Is there a rebuild kit for this and/or a fix?

Thanks

Lee

I have found little pieces of plastic under the check valve ball on a few of them. I don't know where it comes from though.

I'd just toss that chinese piece of garbage in the trash. Man I sure do miss Sam Walton. Remember their old slogan? "American Made"

If its one of those cheap $20 jobs like you get at Wal-Mart then it will be cheaper to go buy another one then it would to find a kit even if you can find a kit.

It may be air locked. Loosen the valve that lets the jack down and with it still open lift and lower the saddle of the jack by hand without pumping the handle then try it. HTH
