I have a 8n that I have gone through everything on the tractor. She rides nice and feels nimble when driving. I purchased a mf35 delux, It feels like a tank to drive. Does any body have experience with both? The steering effort on the mf makes It work to drive is this normal? It would be a pain to remove the steering box because of the dash wireing on the
on the mf. I would do it If I knew what the expected gains could be. Can some one enlighten me?

Just from what i can find on the web, the MF35 appears to be heavier than the 8n.. that will add some manual steering effort... however.. i've driven a 35 and 135, and don't recall them being any worse or better than my non-ps fords.

Prime areas to check are the spindle bushings, and of course see if there is alot of steering gear backlash play before you get draglink arm movement.
