Greetings all, I have pretty much kept to a few comments for others on this board, but I saw this on our favorite reseller and had to pass it along.
I have no interest in this, but a 9N motor in a 1941 truck is a bit off the wall.

That was neat to see. I new they used the engines in the jeeps, but never saw one in a truck...Thanks for posting that.
BTW If you place the link in the "optional link URL" box and give it a title in the "Link title" box it will make your link click-able and it wont fill the screen up too wide and it makes it easier for people to follow the link. It's always something new to learn with these confusers....One of these days I'm gonna have to play with posting a video..Haven't done that yet....I'll post it for you can see how it looks....HTH....Tim

Though the enine in the truck is not actually a 9N engine, the block and most of the parts have 9N casting numbers. It does however have a mechanical fuel pump, which the 9N doesn"t have. I"ll try to post a picture of one when I have time.

I looked at the engine and saw that it had the standard "updraft" style carb and the oil filter and starter seemed to correct. I still like it, but agree that it is a bit pricey for me too.

Once I went the other way around some time ago. I managed to drop a '52 Merc flathead V8 into a '28 Ford Model A using the "A" trans and '52 Ford truck waterpumps. Had a lot of zip, but it was somewhat lacking in the brake department as they were still mechanical. FWIW, the "N" tractor used the same brake shoes as the "A" coupe!
