2N Ford Transmission Input Shaft--Questions??

Have a '47 2N with Sherman Transmission. The input shaft where the pilot bearing fits is worn somewhat and I am considering replacing it or having it built back up and re-sized. What are my chances of finding a good used shaft, considering it has the Sherman box in it???
Thanks to all!

I have many types of Sherman parts. Which type do you have. You could have yours turned down and "bushed", but why?

Have it turned down and a sleeve made for it.

Thanks for the response. We have to do more research to be sure as to what Sherman we have. It is new to us and we are just tearing it down to stop some oil leaks. I believe it is the high speed model, but not sure yet.
