Dang Hobo, that looks like a pretty good score! I have to agree with you on that tail wheel being flimsy. The wheel on my Dearborn has been welded twice. Been thinking about makeing a new one at work along with a scraper. Working in a machine shop has it's advantages.

If and when I ever catch up I have a customer who I went to school with he has a real nice machine shop ,,, I told'em I would werk fer free long as I kin play with his stuff. It shore izz nice to b able to go over to hiz shop and wack off what i need from his stock. Shore nuff is a field day to B able to take enny thing he has in hiz scrap pile. A big time shop scraps out some nice sheet. They don't muck around with junk a poor boy has to deal with,,,nice shinny stuff you know what I mean he he. enny ways I Will figger it out,,, if it B-longs 2 me it will see dirt again I taint a originality freak I tend to make it do what its was tended to do,,, even better.

Nice plow! I have an early 9N plow that is a 14-A style. The best I could get for the manufacture date is "around" 1941 based on the Ford script in the frame and other's serial numbers. Since the AO came out after that model, and since the serial number is fairly high - I would guess that plow was made around '45.

If you find a good tail wheel for a 14-A, let me know.

I"ve got the same 14A I think. Furrow wheel is a little loose, but seems to work OK. Posted pics on the implement forum a few months back.

What I"m looking for is coulters. If you see some, lemme know. Thanks.
