Before I took apart all the sheet metal for blasting & repair/replacement. I did a quick comparison of the Valspar MF Gray from TSC with the original color found under the head light fairing. Original color was much darker and bluer than I expected.

I have a few parts off my 2n like that and they look just like yours. I just ordered a reproduction 9n tool box and battery holdown for a 40 and the color is supposed to be right but is much lighter than the areas I have found on mine.

I've used BPS 'ferguson' grey and it is a deeper grey much more similar to that original paint patch you found.

This is the gray I thought turns out to be as close to the 9N/2N gray, as I could find. I was going to paint this 2N ALL gray with this color, BUT...at the last
second decided to paint it Red belly.

The gray on this 2N is: Rust Oleum, High Proformance Enamal, #7587, in the 15oz, rattle can. Petty close to what I see in your picture.
