I am trying to help a lady in ohio try to figure out what tractor she has for sale. It is listed on craigslist.com click on Ohio then click on farm & garden then at the top where it says search: type in ferguson. It is the 1st one it was advertised on Oct. 31 and she is in Yellow Springs. Can any one help? I know it is not a ferguson she saw the little FERGUSON SYSTEM tag on the front of the hood and listed it as a ferguson. I have ruled out a 9N because the grille bars are vertical rather than horizontal. Thank you all in advance

That sure looks like a 9n to me. I-beam radius rods and the rear wheels appear to be 32"er's. Just my guess.

Looks to be an early Ford 2N. Has the I beam radius rods and holes in the dog legs. Puts it twixt 1942 and mid 1944.

If this is the one I would guess 9n .

The earliest models had horizontal grills but thay soon changed to vertical grills

yes that was it. I did not realize they used 2 different grilles on the same model. Without numbers no way to tell year? Thanks Ken(ARK)
