Had a good time this morning, with Hermie. We plowed some snow in the upper drive and the parking area out back.

The snow is expected to last off and on for the rest of the week,

SO.... we'll be doin' it again soon!!!third party image The upper drive had about 8 inches in it. Didn't do it last time around.

Another shot taken from the front patio door.

Ferg. BFO-20 works fairly well, but... next yr. I'm going to get Hermie

a nice 180 turn/6 way snow blade!!! Then he won't have to work so hard.third party image

Bryan;

Thanks for the compliment on Hermie. I was really in too big of a hurry, right at the last, with the paint job. Trying to beat the snow. There are a lot of other "N"'s out there that look like NEW!! To me Hermie looks functional, and that was my goal.

Thanks again.

Gary,

"Hermie" looks brand new, honestly. That is a very nice looking tractor! I'm sitting here studying the tire chains right now and the position that you have your blade in. I looked at some tire chains today for my 8N but didn't have enough money on me at the time to buy them.

Before I forget I also mounted a SMV sign yesterday just behind my seat. Hopefully the top link won't hit it and bend it all to heck. I'm still in a trial and error process of studying things when it comes to these N tractors. lol

Thanks,
Bryan

Scott; I see Sean already answered your question. I'm so glad he did, cause I really am not very good at explaining those things. When they started changin' things around here, I was lost for about a mo.third party image

Hope ya got what ya need.

Duey;

You sure know how to hurt a guy.!!!!
I've had my eye out for a long time for a Dearborn 19-3 snow plow for a long time now. At least one that I can afford. Every time I find one, shipping costs kill the deal. Oh well, I'll just buy a $150--$200 rear blade.

I know you didn't ASK, but I think that "Hermie" would look ever so much better with a nice big red blade on the FRONT!!!! duey :-)

Sean; Yeh, it is 5 position, angle, but does not turn 180deg., and the freeboard is not made for blading snow, just for dirt. Terracer blade ya know? Snow builds up too much on it. Not very adept at back-blading either.third party image
Dan: That seat cover was one of the first things I bought!!!!! I like my buns to be comffy warm!!!third party image

Thanks guys.

Good eye! I do think you're right. Hermie's got a big grin on his face.
