Sean, It's Saturday evenin and they are up to an amazing $81.00 big ones. I saw some a while back that looked better than these and they didn't go near that high. I guess the feedin frenzy wasn't kicked in on that one.

I talked to Don B. a few days back as I was ordering new parts for my 1939 9N front end rebuild, and he mentioned he was getting some custom made with leather due to all the grumbling about the cheapo Tisco dust seals that crak within a year of install...

I decided to wait on ordering mine :-)

Your probably correct, to be honest I never looked. However - if the dust boot cracks after a year and lets dirt get in - it isn't doing its job. I have had two crack on me in less than a year (with limited use), and many on this board have experienced the same thing. I call this sub-standard material. Not really concerned if it is original in this case, but I prefer a part to last more than a few months and leather should do the trick.

Leather is expensive. Nowadays, rubbers are cheap. Try NAPA for rubber. YOU might be pleased with the [price diffference.

Excuse my typing..... .. John,PA
