Im in south Texas and I use GL-1...If you are up north you may wanna go with Ford MC-134D if you are in the north...

Part of it is rite part is not,,, guess i had a bad day forgive me,,, I got to remember I am not dealing with professionals here,,, I don't belong with either group,,, I know i would git more free beer iffin I would keep my trap shut and go with the flow,,, 160,180,212 all them numbers mean sum'n,,, to most it don't,,, gotta remember i werk wif'em every day, most don't.

Yes, those numbers mean something. I'm sure folks would like to hear what you, as a professional mechanic, understand them as. Myself included. This board is for teaching and being taught.

Hobo, please enlighten us. 212* F. is the boiling point of water at sea level. 160* F. is the temp at which the OEM N thermostat opens. 180* F. is the temp at which an aftermarket t-stat opens, effectively raising the operating temp of the engine by 20* F. What do the numbers mean to you?
