Would anyone be interested in an Erskine pull-type snow blower? I am located in East Grand Forks, MN. I know of at least 3 for sale right now. 5ft. or 6ft. models. Have not checked into the price yet, but I'm thinking about $350 each?? Here is a picture of the 5 ft. model that I use.

Question: How far does the blower throw the snow and is it a two stage type blower?

These blowers are only a single stage blower and throw snow 5-10 ft. I ran the 5 ft model on my 8n and it works just fine. I have a 2 ft. extention wing on the right side also. If the snow is too deep,I'd say over 6 inches, you need to raise the blower for the first pass. They also do not work very well in heavy, wet snow. I see these blowers out in the weeds quite often in my travels during work. I only own the one I use, but was considering purchasing couple more, to resell, if the interest was here. I just hate to see them get scrapped out.

Also, they work best on a long driveway. That way you can just drive forward. One up and one pass back. With a big open yard they are not as good, since you are always pulling a full load of snow. And with the N's, no live power or PTO can make it hard.

Hope this helps. Send me an e-mail if anyone is interested and I will try to help out.

I have one that I use and have been looking for one for my son. Your asking price is much higher than what I paid for mine. You have to remember the age of these old blowers. If you reduce your price I'd be interested. Email open

Mine cost me $25 at a farm auction about 10 years ago. I could have had it for less. Mine was the opening and only bid. Still works, though.
