I seen this ad in the local shopper. I don't know any thing about the chains or the seller but it sounded like a good deal, thought one of you guys might need a set of chains. The ad reads Ferguson 20 or Ford 8N tractor chains, good $20 217-942-6463. I have no idea how much these would be to ship.

You could just pick them up perhaps. Using www.411.com reverse lookup, it points to Carrolton IL. Of course with the price of gas, it is most likely cheaper to ship but at that price I would drive.

Tire chains on the N in the winter work GREAT. Pick them up!

I would but I don't need them. I thought it sounded like a good deal but we really don't get enough snow to plow. I could buy them and resell and try and make a couple of bucks but I thought some one else might really need them.

Marty:

That is a steal. Grab them now or someone else will.

Chains are heavy and expensive to ship. I would pick them up myself if within driving distance.

Chains are the only thing that will substantially improve traction in snow and ice.
