We got about 5 inches of snow yesterday followed by freezing rain. This AM I got about 5 hours of playtime doing my driveway and some of the neighbors". These pics were taken with a cellphone by one of the neighbors as I finished up his driveway. third party image

The plow/tractor works good even w/o the chains on. The chains would certainly help but raise he?? with the driveways. This will probably be the last winter for my "city tractor" as it will be sent out to the farm next Fall. I"m looking for a Jubilee or 100 Series Tractor as a replacement.

I'd think if you have any weight you wouldn't need chains as your pushing the snow before you run over it. That's what I've found with my tractor and loader.

Carefull with chains on blacktop. I put some nasty scraped marks in my brand new blacktopped driveway a few years ago. Abandodned the chains and blade and bought a nice snowblower.

Looks fun! I'm really impressed that you were able to get traction without chains. That looks like some really slippery stuff there. Are your tires fluid filled?

Another tractor, eh. You must be in someone's good graces! Are you thinking about putting in some crops at the farm? Are you going to stick with the gassers or are you thinking about a dsl?

Thanks for the photos! We ended up with about 7" inches. Not as much as I hoped for... but if it sticks around, it'll be the first trully white Christmas since I graduated from High School. It's nice to have.

Tim, That is one nice piece of equipment. Looks like it does a good job. I would like to find one for my Ferguson TO-30. All I have is a rear blade now. Anyone know where I could find one....or plans to build one?
