Looks like you have to use a can opener to drink that one...Good idea getting rid of pull tabs. I find them all the time on my property...What year did they make the switch??...It was a good idea!!

Here is a can of Olympia Beer that made it past the stage where they put in the pull tab.

Or maybe this was past the pull tab era.

"Not many micro brews in Texas..."

WHAT??? I am a micro brew fanatic and a home brewer as well. There are quite a few micro breweries in Texas - several in Dallas alone. I prefer a good micro brew beer over almost any heavy production beer anyday. When I go out of town, I will hit any micro brew in the area and get a sampler set. I christened Delilah, my 1948 8N trailer queen, with the last bottle of Farmers Friend I got from a guy who knew I loved home brew and old Ford iron and got me a six pack when he was up in the area.

I am drinking a Leininkugel's Sunshine Wheat as I write this.

Sure is!

I've got a friend who teaches elementary school in Carbondale CO ... he sent me a 6-pack this fall. Unfortunately, interstate commerce regulations dictated that the 6-pack had to be empty :-(
