My father is restoring a Powermaster 1957 Ford and the final touchers are the Powermaster Decals. Its Christmas time and I would really like to get this for him however every site I go to that has powermaster decals arent the correct ones. On his hood there is an indention for the word powermaster and starting in front and almost circling the "P" is a almost "C" shape. All the decals I looked at do not show this. Can anyone help me please.

Yeah I was mistaken about the indention. I talked to my dad again and he said it was a sticker not an indention. Do you have the web address from where you order or do you call it in???

I know which decal you're talking about but I can't find a photo of it right now. In 1957 Ford assigned the name Powermaster to the 800 series and gave it a decal. Unfortunately only the tail end of the 800 series production got that decal before production changed to the 801 series. All 801 series tractors were called Powermasters, but the decal was changed.

I've looked at a couple of suppliers' sites and I do not find that '57 Powermaster decal either. So I'm not much help, but I thought I'd chime in just so you know you're not crazy...that decal really was used on '57 800 series Fords. I just don't know where you find a duplicate.

P.S. You're a good daughter!

Thank you very much for you response. I found a ad for a 1957 tractor on Yesterdays website and it shows the picture of the decal. I cant find it anywhere though and time is narrowing down. My dad told me this was a rare emblem and I had no idea with todays world it would be so hard to find.

The picture of this ad is on vintage pictures on the yesterdays site if you want to check it out.

Thanks again for you response and for looking!
Happy Holidays.
