We got about 5" yesterday---clearing out the first 3" last night with the front mount plow. This gives us a bit more than 19" of snow for December.

Tim - You"ve got a great film crew!

We could use a little bit of snow to freshen up the landscape. Send some our way

Colin---the film crew was fortunately available at the "right" time to capture some of these pics.

That same crew mysteriously "disappears" when it comes time to shovel the sidewalks around here!!!

We are expected to get rain later on this week, but I am hoping we have a little bit of snow for Xmas.

Do you have a lot of snow over at the farm?

Tim

About 2 feet of snow at the farm, but some has settled since the storm.

My youngest cousin has never had enough snow to build a "real" snow fort, so I've promised to give him some instruction over Christmas. Show him how it was done when it really used to snow. ;-)

WOW! Great video. Bet your neighbors are a bit jealous. One big problem I noticed, however, is that your driveway is way too short for that monster machine.

Jim---I usually end up doing 5-6 of the neighbors driveways, especially when the road plow fills up the end of the driveway.

I bought this plow for use on a 1/4 mile long unpaved car path at the farm, but have so much fun with it, I keep it with my "city" tractor.

I think next week when I try to plow the farm drive with my rear mounted blade, I will be sorry that I don't have this plow to use.

Looks like you're having Waasay too much fun there 8N'r.
I'm jealous too.
I had a front mounted plow for several years but sold it with the tractor it was on.
Now I'm using a back blade and a FEL but they are ungainly and not as effective as your plow.

Jerry---I think I am going to find out what you mean about the rear blades not being as "effective" as the front mounts.

I have about a 1/4 mile lane that has not been opened up since the snow began up at the farm. I have an old Dearborn back blade to clear that out with and am anxious to try it out.

I have chains on that tractor with filled tires and I hope the rear blade will do the job.

Howdy Ron,
Good to hear from you.
And I'm glad to hear your still running that plow.
What I'm looking for is really just the blade for a 19-2 but would take the whole rig if I could find it.
I've sold my Ns and am running 3 cylinder Fords now - a 2000 and a 3000.
I found a Ford frame for my 3000 but the blade was badly torn up from running it on a way too powerful 4000 - bent, torched on, welded over and over etc.
But it looks like a Dearborn like you have is identical and would pin directly onto my frame.
So yes, if you found one that wasn't too far away and 8N'r didn't grab it I'm interested.

Hopefully you can get through yahoo's spam filters.

Ron--if you find another 19-2 with the universal frame, I am still patiently looking for one to use on the farm---I have a contact in Presque Isle that would be able to "store it" for me.

I located another 19-2 last week, but seller has not returned my call and I figure it is sold.

You had my email last year when you provided me with the pics of your rig and the "weight" you added to the rear. If not, just contact me on this site and I will open up email.

If you need anything, let me know, I am always "looking" at ads, etc.

Tim
