I got a kick out of the "So much for (Ford) dealers" thread earlier. I was about to post a rant about the part resellers always recommended on here for their own gouging. I spent $200 recently at one of the well known ones here a week or so ago. (I've spent $1,600 on parts over the last 6 months, so this is a typical order).A day after I ordered, I realized I forgot a $7 part, called them immediately, and asked if they had not yet shipped to put it in with the $200 order. They said no problem. I get both orders, (separate mailings) get this, 15 days later! The order was not even mailed for another 5 days from the day I called! To make matters worse, they sent both orders separately, and charged for both! Wait! You think that's bad? The geniuses left the mailing costs printed on the label for the $7 part. It costs them $5.40 and guess what they charged to ship!? $14 for a $7 part! And I keep ordering from them because I think they are cheaper! The funny thing is they won't tell you on the phone what the costs will be, "because we don't know until we ship". BS! Say all you want about FNH dealers, they always had the part when they said they would, and tell me upfront what the costs will be, and never a nickel more. That was my last order from a reseller, by the way. End rant.
