Recently got this ford 9n and aquired a wagner loader and Ferguson BFO A 21 Rear Blade. The blade had been sitting for a while, found it in a field. The pin to stop the blade from swiveling was rusted in. Spent 2 hours trying to get it out, finally did. Want to know how this pin originally went and worked. If anyone had pictures or manuals it would be a great help. I have included pictures of what I have

Thanks

Wow...This thread is all
out of wack....No side by
side photos!!!....Tip delete
those photos from photo
bucket....Reset the pic size

in photo bucket to ( 640 x 480 )
Then reload the photos with the
same name. They will show up

smaller.. Looks like a 9n to me.

I beam radius rods..Serial#

indicates 1942 9N..

Looks like the pin part maybe broken and or missing some parts. By the way the tractor looks more like a 2N then it does a 9N. Almost the same tractors but the 2N is newer by a few years. You need to find your serial number to be sure if it is a 9N or 2N

Are there anyway to get parts for these? (I'm guessing not) I checked the S/N it's 9N94844 So that would make it a 1942 9n correct? What made it look like a 2N?

Thanks

Reason I said it might be a 2N was the I-beam arms on it but not sure when they used them. But yes it looks like it might be a 9N. Some times its hard to tell and from what I know the lasat year of the 9N was 1942 but this site says 1943 which should be wrong. So either way you have either a very late 9N or early 2N

Old, Me, I'm still tryin to figure out what made you say it was a 2N from the picture. Didn't the 2N use the I beam rods also? And since were talkin bout rods wich ones do you think are stronger? The tube type or I Beam type?

Mark.....

I think the I beam type are stronger since I have yet to see any of them bent but I have seen a good number of the tube type bent.
