If he's selling it as a Golden Jubilee then make darned sure it is a Golden Jubilee.
I've seen everything from an 8N to a 600 to a 961 advertised as a Golden Jubilee.
I don't care what the owner or medalion on the nose says.
Only way to tell for sure is find the serial #.
I can't find the link now but others maybe will will provide it for you. Look it up and make sure.
As to your tractor, 1550 hrs. is VERY low. Like a 53 model car with 60K miles.
More importand than paint is the tin. Is it sound, rust free other than surface and hasn't been repainted a dozen times?
A real Jubilee that was clean, shedded, low houred and original, with good tires etc would be a bargain at $2500. As a sweetheart, low houred, original faded tach, no blowby, everything works good, workhorse with some bragging rights it's worth maybe up to $3500 unrestored. Do a little homework. It is a great tractor if is is a 53 as you describe.
Keep us posted.

Are you buying or selling? Where is the tractor located?

Tim

We really need more info like a picture etc. With what you have provided it could range from $1200 to $4000. Include tire shape, running or not, or any other particulars.
