My 49 leaks & burns it so fast I've poured used Rotella from a Cat Diesel in it just to keep it going. When they get to this shape I figure any oil's better than none.

I did recently change it cause I found a case of 60wt I used to run in my motorcycle. Don't seem to push it out quite as fast as some of the lighter weights.

I run AeroShell 50 wt (Aircraft oil.... specifically for air-cooled engines) in my '34 Harley VLD. I wish I could find an old quart of original Harley "Heavy" or "Extra Heavy" just for a conversation-piece. :P

Honda's are certainly good, trouble-free, smooth bikes. But they ain't a Harley! (You could also get a Jimna, Mahindra, etc., but they ain't a N-Ford!"

I've got a Penzoil glass oil bottle I found in an old building years ago. Never saw many of them, musta been before my time. The paint & cap (no paper labels back then) are in excellent shape. Still has about half a quart in it.

Oh yea gahorN, I did find some Miller/HD/Bike Week beer cans from late 80's or early 90's. They all froze & spewed out so the tabs are still on them. If they were in better shape I could probably sell them on ebay.

I was using it in a bunch of different Harleys. Can't remember where I found that 60wt at. In summer they would heat up so bad if you got caught in slow traffic that I figured it needed all the help it could get. An aftermarket oil cooler helped a lot too.

Some guys were running a 70wt that they were getting from a small airplane shop close by. They never seemed to have any problems with it.

Yea, I'd like one of those old oil cans too!

I have had several bikes over the years, finally bought a Goldwing a couple years back and found its the only way to travel.

Back in the eighties I had a V65 Honda fast and fun bike. Problem was those bikes had oiling issues and would wear out cams every 20,000 miles or so.
