It was -20 during the night, warmed up to 5 deg.at the present. Nice sunny day. Great day for "OUR" Green Bay Packers to win their division title. Guess thats why they call it Title Town. Go Pack.

Gary,

I think your snow is headed our way tonight. The weatherman says we should only get a dusting. You know what that means? Probably a foot or more!

Happy plowing,
Danny

here on the coast of RI we got just enough to dut the driveway last night, it doesn't look like any stuck to the road. Round here we never get much snow, well hardly ever.

Mornin' Jim;

I'm glad we are getting this much, this yr., but... the predition of Tues.,Weds., and Thurs., don't really thrill me. Temp. is predicted to drop to around 20 below by Weds night and stay that way (up and down) thru, Thurs. night and Fri. morn. May or may not happen!!, but...I'm going to put HERMIE in the workshop stall, and keep the pellet stove goin', just in case!!!!
NO plow machine,....No movin' around much!!!!! :(
Maybe usin' the sled to get groceries.!!

Gary, I have a small guest house down by the pond. Come out of that 20 below crap and warm up.
It's gonna be cold here but lows will be above PLUS 20 degrees.

Sooo sorry about your wife. Hope she gets better soon. Rain here yesterday and 24 degrees this morning...I won't be going to church. Forcast for 17 degrees tonight. Had snow in the upstate but none here in the midland.
You look to be getting much needed moisture, Gary. Good for you. I think the eastern slopes could use more in Wyo. and Colo.

Good AM Gary----the second of Sean"s maps is very accurate. Snow cover at the farm in SW Wisc shows about 6-10"---that is pretty accurate as well.

It is 8 below zero here this am----I was going to go out to see how the 49 8N would start just as a test, but I am going to stay inside instead!!

8N'r, you darn well "should" stay in at 8 below!
That's not humane to start your N in that weather... opps, I guess N's are really not human. See, wasn't worried about you... lol

You are right---unless I was going to work that tractor hard for about an hour, I know I would do it more harm than good----but I would bet it would start right up!!!

As far humane goes, not many people believe that I used to frame houses in the winter---if the sun was out and no wind, even down to -5 degrees would be a work day---it usually warmed up to 10 to 15 degrees above zero in the afternoon and then we would start to "sweat"----

That, of course, was in a prior "life"---LOL

Sean--if you look at WI on that map, down in the SE Corner of the state where I live, it shows 5" of snow cover.

In my yard, the grass tops are sticking above 1" of snow on the ground.----In the wooded areas, a bit more.

Not the most accurate map IMO

Tim
