Opie..... ..gack, I HATE giffin' 'stimates 'bout USED tractors 'cuz what they're worth to me ain't what its worth to you. Comprendo??? Depending upon tractor condition, 'speshally them rear ag-bar tires, the whole outfit could be worth $3000-4000 ...BUT... Don't advertise the price, say "estate sale", come and inspect, good price to buyer; or sumptin like that. List major implements, maybe say good condition, etc. You can't make the sale without gittin' eyeballs on the full outfit. But iff'n you overprice it in print, you'll NEVER gitt calls. After potential buyer eyeballs yer junk ...er... valuable antiques (grin) iff'n he asks the price, tell'em its worth $5000 but you'd take $4000 today. Let him counter-offer. Iff'n he starts the price bidding, and you don't like the opening, just tell'em the same $5000 song'n'dance. But you secretly know yer bottom price and stick to it. (unless yer desperate to make the sale) Lett'em talk ya down to yer secret bottom price and everybody will be happy. TIP: don't think an el-cheapo spraybomb paintjob will increase value, 'cuz I'm thinkin' "he's hiding sumptin" and discount the price. ..ie... fresh paint on $2000 tractor does NOT make it a $3000 tractor. Howsomevers, an all rustbucket outfit will cause me to discount even more, 'cuz its a visible sign of yer values..... ...Dell, the curmudgeon
