is there an easy way to check steering box lube

I have seen posts on this before,my buddy has a 52 8N how can we check the lube ? And if its low how to fill or how hard to change it to grease ? I did the search here but dont see how to do it or if its wise to do it . Thanks again

hum... no can do I must be not putting the name in right. If you buy the bolt do you need to somehow drain and thing that may be in the box now, if so how ? I will keep trying to find the site just out of curiosity

Go over to the ntractor site & ask that question . The site is mostly Ns but some members have other brands too . There's a guy that goes by farmerdan that is making a special lube bolt for in the steering box . I bought a couple last week but haven't tried installing yet . If you're interested in checking that site out , I'll put the website here in a strange way so YTs filter won't block it . Hope you can figure it out . Maybe see ya there .
