I saw some info on a boom pole for an 8N,it looks fairly simple and even better idea but would someone be able to list measurements and material size,I think I will make one up.Thankyou, Dan

i put a 1500lbs boat winch just under the top hook up and then ran a pully block at the top this way i can pick up more than the hyd will pick up(i put weight in the front) picked up to 800 lbs

Found the one I made but it was made for a bigger tractor with aux hyd. I made the receiver hitch first then the boom pole to fit it. The hyd cyclinder gives me more lift and it also extends out right at nine and a half feet.

I built one based on the drawing on the other site. I added some additional gussets here and there. I agree you can buy one for what you will have in steel but I enjoy building things so it is personal satifaction with me. I used it the other night to unload the plows out of the back of my truck. It worked great.

You can buy one cheaper then you can make one unless you have the pipe etc. just laying around and if you do then you can custom make it to fit your needs. I made one years ago and the only time I use it is on my loader. Ya I made it fit both the 3 point and the loader and I use it to get extra lift when I build a building
