Need some advice on the front axle, do the below look ok to use with the uneven wear on the top, or what could be done to them so to use? They fell apart when I took the top arm off, bearings etc are toast. Would a rebuild kit take care of it?Any help appreciated, I am stuck on what all to do. thanks for the help as always, you guys are great.

I'd replace the bushings and the bearings. I did mine a couple of years ago and don't remember any problems. Just a dirty job. Relatively cheap. Just don't let mission creep set in. I would check the kingpin bushing while I was that close. HTH

Thanks Don, I really didn't know what to do , new axles are expensive, would putting a brass washer on top under the arm help to control or even out the wear?

I'm not sure exactly where your talking about. The 2nd pic shows a bushing sticking up. That should be set lower when they are replaced. My MPC shows the axle rides on the spindle bearing. There is a dust seal at the top of the spindle. HTH
