BillM (OH) said: (quoted from post at 22:38:59 01/31/08) Looks like entire center aft of the tranny is a 2/9N - no position control lever, 3 pt. link, etc. Right tire might be worth $250 or so, rest maybe good for parts - probably big bucks to put it in shape to work. Good luck.

I might would agree with that, but looking at the rear end shot, it looks as if there is a bolt, in the bottom, with the head point towards the ground.

There are no bolt hole on the bottom of the 9N, or the 2N.

Not till the 8N.

(I think)

My best guess would be old model, front mount 8N.

I can't see it well enough to tell if there is a draft lever on the upper lift cover.

It doesn't look to me like there is.

If not that would be a 9N or 2N lift cover.

You're right. Looks like he shoved a piece of pipe over it, no clamp.

But hey, we could have our first parts buyer, some fellow's looking for a manifold right now!

Wonder why he's got the hitch propped up? Might have been a bad pump back when it ran.

Still according to what parts are bringing on ebay you should make a decent profit on it.
Let's all chip in $50 apiece, you part it out & we'll split the profit!

If this 8N is near you, offer him $400 for it and if he don't take it,offer him $450, with the statement that an overhual is needed to fix the engine.

Then if he takes your offer/offers, get it home, pull the starter and see if the stuck engine might just be the starter drive is wedged in the ringgear. freezing up the engine.
Wouldn't that be something!!!!, if that was what was the prob. with the engine. The tranny might be somting else tho.

Looks to me like someone has worked on the rear, cause that diffy case looks like a diff. color red.

I see a lot of parts missing, and the front wheels and hubs are wrong. Needs A LOT of TLC, could easily put $2000 in it, and that may not include paint. $300, $350 maybe. Bought on much better that ran for $400. Be careful.

I have seen the hat rims sell for top dollar. I wondering about the center section. Looks like a 9N top link rocker?? Dont 8N'S have a place for a long pin? I dont see one on this one..Running boards seem to be gone..

Probably worth that but I would offer him $400 and see if he would go down some. You might get lucky and he might meet you in the middle at $500. It has at least that much in it as good parts. Shoot unless that one tire is weather checked very very bad the tire and rim is worth $300
