It doesn"t look to be a big deal but how easy is it to change the muffler/exhaust on a 51 8N ?

Is there a kit with the pipes , clamps, gasket ? Is there a donut gasket at the manifold ?

Anyway the manifold clamp goes on special ?

It has a up in the air system on it and he wants to chg to the one that goes under the floor board Where is the best place to buy ??

When holding the clamp together, looking down on it, the smaller looking hole goes to the pipe, the larger to the manifold.

Its a totally easy job. You can buy a new muffler at TSC or order it from this site. There is no gasket, just the clamp. The clamp does have an up side and a down side, if you inspect it closely it will be obvious which way is which.

To get a good tight fit there, put a floor jack under the exhaust pipe and jack it up tight to the manifold before you put the clamp on it.

I agree with Bruce but
Don't be too aggressive with the nuts on the clamp, the clamp is cast and breaks extremely easy. Stan
