Interesting reading, good work. On a not totally unrelated note, Hemmings Motor News had, as part of a recent podcast, a discussion regarding the decreasing amount of zinc (due to stricter emissions standards) in motor oils. The effects of this would be noticed mainly in high performance vehicles, or those with higher than normal RPM's. What was interesting to me was the statement that if you had a case or two of 1980 or earlier motor oil that had higher than current levels of zinc in it, it could be worth quite a bit more than what you paid for it way back when...
