Well, I got my new plug wires yesterday and installed 'em. I plowed the driveway today (about 6 inches of snow) and what a HUGE difference. LOTS more power, and a much smoother running engine. Checked two auto parts stores and the NH dealership before I finally found em at TSC, $10.00 for the set. Best $10.00 I've spent on it yet. Also, I determined that the falling oil pressure problem I had a few weeks ago was the oil level - I have to keep it towards the top of the "operating range" on the dipstick. If it gets within 1/2 inch or so of the "fill" line I lose oil pressure during a sudden stop or direction change. I filled 'er up and haven't had the problem since.
It's February 1st! Only 4 more months till warm weather in Michigan! :D

I'm going to change the oil this spring. I'm also going to be replacing the front axle kingpin and bushing, so if the pickup tube needs fixin' that will be the time to do it.
Thanks for the help and advice.

Joe

Sounds like the next time you change your oil you need to reach up into the drain plug area and make sure the oil pump pick up is tight and doesn't spin around some. The oil pressure should not drop even when low unless theres some sort of problem in side of it
