I had to have this 8n after all we share about the same birthday, It was a non runner sat out in the weather and had that old rusty look, but seemed to be mostly all there. Took the engine to the machine shop, then cleaned the rest of her while waiting. a quart of rusty medal primer, then a gray coat and finally a quart of red. Fired up yesterday worked out a few bugs and rolled her out today, babys' first day out in 2 months. Thanks to all that post the information here. It has helped me alot. not only is this tractor as old as I am it is sometimes as stubborn.

Tomater I just put them on quick and didn't look at them, the front end is going to have to be moved also, its to wide. It was not running when I got it and I was wanting to check it all out. the lift won't work in the draft position, I forgot to paint the vent for the air filter. I haven't put on the lights and wired them yet. its not charging, A few odds and ends to tie up. I still have a while before plowing time.

in work next project in back ground a 640 needs a clutch and rear main seal, so far.
