It dont fit anymore or is the wrong one , Is there a cap at like Napa auto I can use ?

I went through several caps on my 8N. The one that it came with didn"t tighten up and gas would leak out as I climbed the hills. I purchased one at TSC and that fit tighter but also leaked on the hills even with an extra cork gasket.

I decided that the flat surface on top of the tank gooseneck was no longer level through years of use. I purchased one of the fuel gauge type caps and it had a rubber gasket. It no longer leaks on hills.

I would think NAPA would have one.

The one with "wings" is a lot easyer to get off . I'm usin" a crome one off a Ford pickup and although it lookes real neat it's just hard to grip on my 8N

Hey Dunk, got to replace mine when I put things back together, Some of the replacements are vented and unvented, with the pin hole in the tank, does it matter?

As long as the vent is open in the top of the tank you should be able to use either.
