Supposed to be a 52 8n, side dist. runs pretty good smokes a little at start up. hyd work, pto works and has a hi-lo transmission and the owner wants $900 obo. No fenders. Anyone maybe have a ball park idea what it may be worth? I am still restoring my 8n but thought the transmission might be useful. thanks for the input in advance/

HOLY *#@!, buy it, or I will haul all the way from Arizona to buy it. It looks better than most of the 8N's I've seen advertised.

the hi/low tranny probably worth the asking price of the tractor by itself.

Agreed. I have a complete, working Hi-Lo tranny sitting on the shelf in my shop. Got it a few years ago and will eventually install it in my 50 8N when it's that tractors "turn." Been offered $800.00 for that tranny but it's staying here.

I'd go $900.00 on that tractor in a heartbeat.

Yep.. so would I.. You could part it and tripple your money.. or sell the combo out of it for the 900$ and then buy an input shaft and then sell the tractor and probably make another 900$.. and be done with it..

for $900 I'd buy that without thinking twice, if it runs decent and nothing is obviously wrong with it its worth twice that amount.

Buy it and make a deal for the fenders in the bushes.

Easily worth $900 or more from what I see, running or non-running. Where is it located?

I'll bet you will be too late. Some people know a good deal when they see one.

All I say is if you have the $$ why don't you own it yet. Shoot from what the rear tire looks like that in its self is worth $200 and the sherman another $500 plus

Is that a front snow plow mount? looks like a deal to me. I have seen over/unders sell for 1100 on ebay.

Strikes me a bit strange that a tractor in Florida would have a snowplow mount.

I would say, from what you said, and from what I can see, that it is well worth $900 x 2, or maybe more with the over and under.
