Hi All,

Looking for what some of you may have done to beat the sun. I have an 8n and have recently received an umbrella as a gift. ( like the ones sold on this site )
I see there are several brackets sold, one marked as a sherman etc. Have any of you guys mounted the stock bracket, which is simply a tube and clamp affair to the fender?
I guess I am wishful thinking that Spring and Summer will soon be here.
Thanks, ...Jim

Jim....I picked up one of the umbrellas this past year, but never tried the included tube bracket....too much of a contraption for me, so I made my own bracket.

As I recall, the included version has several struts which, I assume, are to be fitted under the trumpet nuts & lift cover cap screws. Are you trying to pick the spot to mount it?

Jeff

I can't help you with your question, but it sure needs to warm where you are. I was in Indiana Monday and Tuesday and it was 9 degrees with a minus 9 wind chill when I got up Monday!

(And I was complaining about the 40's here)
