Philip..... ..the little lever under yer right kneezie is NOT a flush lever (grin) it is a selector for hydraulics. UP (vertical) is position control as in brushhoggin' and other general lifting jobs. Horizontal is DRAFT control for PLOWING. 9N's & 2N's don't have that lever, their hydraulics are ALWAYS DRAFT. Unless yer plowing with yer 8N, keep yer lever UP..... ..HTH, Dell

The small ~3 inch lever on top of the lift housing, when vertical is in POSITION CONTROL and when horizontal is in DRAFT CONTROL. It alters how the lift arms react to the Hyd Touch Control Lever.
