Jim;

In answer to your ???, on the 17th, Yes/No!!!

We have not had any new snow, since last Sunday. But it was very light and did not last very long. The temp. here has been in the 10-15 deg. F range, at night, and in the mid. to high 40's during the days.

We still have 2 1/2 ft. of snow in the front yard, but that is melting down slowly. The first throw's of spring is upon us, and it will not be too long at this rate, that every thing will be mud, for awhile.

It has been warm enough to work in the shop, without the stove going!!! I've got CABIN FEVER, so that is where I am usually at, during the day time.
Sorry I took so long to answer ya. :oops:
Gary :)

Sounds like things are warmin' up. (That just means we have survived another winter and are now a year older) I have to admit, I miss the snow, but not the cold and da** wind of Nebraska winters. I found out my father was a liar when I was 13. Our barn burned down and I milked 8-10 cows in a 3 sided cattle shed and he kept telling me "if you would milk fast enough, your hands won't get cold"! I was dumb enough to believe that for most of the first winter!!

Yeah Jim - similar experience. When I was a kid, we'd be out sawing firewood with the old 2 man crosscut & my feet would get so cold I'd be close to crying. Didn't figure out until years later that I had the cheap rubber boots (growing feet, no sense wasting money, you know) and the old man always had his felt pack boots on..... If I'm out hunting today in real cold weather, I've been known to put a one of those carbon/iron warmers in the bottom of each pack boot - feet still get too cold!!!
