thanx to all who responded it turns out that,or at least i think, that the little wire thingy was pushed off to the side preventing spark??? it goes into a flat screw that isn't concave and took some playing around to get it in the correct place hopefully this works for a while Thanx again and happy N'n

Thank you so much for the follow up. All too often, ideas are given to solve a problem & those of us who are reading the thread wonder if any of them worked. Now we do at least on this one. I'll bet it feels good to have it running again.

Try to get the proper brass screw, with a cupped deppression to center the little "spring thingy" to prevent future problems.

where would i find the screw with a depression would a phillips head work in a pinch ???
