I have checked all the wireing and everything seems to be right and in good shape. However the tractor seems to drain the bat. after setting about two days. Does any one have any sugestions? Thanks Sam

The tractor is still a 6 volt pos ground. Dont want to switch to alt if I can help it. thanks to all for the replys. Sam

I agree with Bob need more info to help you much. If its 6 volt a bad V.R. will do that if 12 volt a bad alternator will do that.

Go to Harbor Freight and buy yourself a battery cut-off switch. I use one all the time on both my N's. It cccuts the power to the tractor at the positive terminal but the cable stays attached and looks to be operational. It works for battery drains and thief protection from unauthorized tractor starting. I paid about $5.00 each for mine. They are also available at other places, just ask for battery cut-off switch.

It don't matterif it is 6 or 12, + or - ground the battery switch will work on either one. If you have an alternator you may have a drain there.
