I bought a 5 foot figuring that anything the tractor would pass, so would the blade. The problem is that if you angle the blade it scrapes consuderably smaller than the width of the tractor. I wish I would have bought at least a 6 foot.

I prefer a 7ft. blade unless your going to use it in the woods or areas where a 7 ft one would be too wide. When you angle the larger blade they cover the width of your tractor. Me, I wouldn't buy a 5 footer unless it was really cheap and in good condition. That saying I do have an extra 5 ft. one that was given to me and in great shape. I use it as a back blade, like a dozer blade, to move dirt. Your call. Ron

My guess would be less than $100.00 depending on condition. 5 foot isn't that wide and as such may not be that popular. I have a 7 foot on mine and it does pretty well.

I usually like to view used implements in good condition at 50% of new cost fro a similar item. Less if more used.. For items that are barely used.. like 'used 1x' up to 75%, and for truly new items.. perhaps still unassembled or on a shipping palate.. up to 90% if need be.
