Does anyone know anything about this interesting swinging drawbar setup? Is it an original Dearborn/Ford accessory or aftermarket? No tag or identification was noted. I am quite certain it was manufactured - not a farmerization. I"d be concerned lifting or pulling anything too heavy with it? Seems like a drawbar should pull low and from below the axle. It would work well for a side delivery rake. Thanks for any information.

It's an interesting piece for sure.
Not a lot different than the type they sell on Ebay except for the swinging drawbar.
It would pull from as low as your lower lift arms would drop which is lower than a standard drawbar.
Safe enough if you don't have it raised up high.

Rick:

Can’t help out with the swinging draw bar, but I am curious if you got to Dean’s place over the weekend? I got your voice message, but too late in the PM to return.
