I need a good clear pic. posted, of the axle pin assembled on an early 44 2N, to be able to see exactly where the spacer is and the thin washers are installed.

Pic needed, is of a 2N, with ser# prior to Ser#167,488.

I'm getting so many different statements as to where/how this is set up, I fig. this might be the way to get the info. I need.

The FO4 does NOT show ANY spacers and washers, and my 2N axle pin was so cobbled up, I don't know where anything goes!!!! :shock:
TIA Please help the retard!!!! :?
Gary :roll:

Gary....if your front end is still 2n...you don't need spacers or washers.If you have original front end parts,the parts book calls for the "E" pin for your serial number,about 1/4" longer than "D" pin.Have fun. don b

Don;

Thanks a heap. The pin I did order was the pin from your site, listed as, for the 43-44 2N only, and the reason was that the pin used was about 4 1/4", and it was in fact needing 4 3/4".

So.....with the info. you have given me, and my messuring, I think everything will be correct. I'll know for sure, when the UPS guy gets here Tues.
Thanks again for the posts and the help!!!!!

Gary :D
