Two things please:

- We have a 1952 8N with apparently a factory installed hyraulic system mounted on it. I recently replaced the distributor and the individual at the parts store saw the picture of it and said the hydraulics were in fact facotry installed and therefore the tractor is a collectors item..... ?? I don"t know how to upload an image here or I would.....we bought the tractor do some work and afer changing out the distributor, it performs beautifully... which brings me to the second thing;
- I have a serious hydraulic fluid leak coming from the box to the right of the drivers seat that has the lever to raise or lower the frontend loader. The leak seems to be coming from the shaft going into the box suggesting there is an "O" ring in need of replacement inside the box. Zero knowledge with hydraulics....can anyone out there steer me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance for the help!

I appreciate putting the pictures up for me.

Does anyone have any ideas on what we have as a tractor - is it something that should be set aside and perserved as a collectors item instead of working it to death the way we are.....

Any thoughts on the leak hydraulic fluid problem and the best way to fix it?

This old girl is a hard worker. Everything basically works beautifully and I don't want to risk of damaging her unnecessarily.

I would appeciate any thoughts and help you might offer. Thanks

Sounds like a remote valve tap added through the top cover.
