During one of our appointments..... ....

well, guess what?

Our local TV just reported that one of the main airlines had a crew "gun" happy in the "cockpit".

This coming Winter, I think that I will go thru with the opportunity to learn some fellas to FLY that airplane on floats in the Apalachicola, Fl. area.

See yas on the way down. December 7th.

Thanks for the space/John

Well let's see. When I was first married in the early 60's I was cleaning a 22 in the kitchen and shot a hole in one of those metal sink doors. Had a 30 cal. M1 early 90's and unloaded it through the roof. Only one shot. Everyone is still alive except the wife passed away from natural causes. I could tell a few war stories but nuff said. David. Now' where was I?

Pilot's gun fires on US Airways jet

Incident occurred on flight from Denver to Charlotte; no injuries reported

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A gun belonging to the pilot of a US Airways plane went off as the aircraft was on approach to land in North Carolina over the weekend, the first time a weapon issued under a federal program to arm pilots was fired, authorities said.
The "accidental discharge" Saturday aboard Flight 1536 from Denver, Colorado, to Charlotte, North Carolina, did not endanger the aircraft or the 124 passengers, two pilots and three flight attendants aboard, said Greg Alter of the Federal Air Marshal Service.

So far, there are no details. Only know that a pilots gun went off "accidently" in the cockpit, on a US AIR flight.

I guess the SAFETY wasn't on.
