Ive looked in the search part but have not found the dimensions of the 8n-10145. I was wondering if some one could scan it to a PDF and post it. Also I am looking for a picture of how the spring mounts on the throttle handle rod. Thanks to oldhoki for the front axle pin, works great. AdamP

Adam, there are plenty of folk here that can answer the "how", I just not one of them, but they will show up..... hang in there.

I should have stated that my tractor is a 40-41ish 9n. No number on the block. She has the cast steel front axle housing and old pin. grease zerks on back side similar clutch and brake lever and interlock starting button all of which I'm working on. Im not going back to exact original but making a mechanically sound tractor that is close. Thanks, AdamP

Adam...I think you are looking for part number 9n9827.This attaches to the throttle rod and then to the governor. It is called the governor compensating spring.Don't have a clue as to where you came up with that part number. don b

Adam--if you are asking about the throttle control rod spring--this may help--if not, disregard.

The spring for the 8N is part #8N9806 and is 2.75" long with an I.D. of .42"

The spring for the 9N and 2N is shorter but has a wider I.D.
