Thanks Guy's... I like that set up...Im trashing the 12 volt idea...6 volts is easy and I already have a new resistor..Not cheap...Got it from Helms tractor...Nice quality thou..

Are you going to set it up like my 2N and your 9N, with the early 8N 2brush genny. I've still got my old V/R like we use. If ya need it, let me know!!

sorry I can't help ya there, but if you copy that pic. and print it out, then look around the bone yards maybe you will get lucky. Or maybe check with Smiths old tractors.

I don't know where else to have ya look.
