Had to drive up to Aurora (South of Chicago) for work today, and was pretty dead tired this evening, but I did find enough energy to wire brush and paint the right trumpet. Diff housing is next in line, and then I can start putting things back together.

Dan,

Honestly, I don't know, either! It's wearing me down pretty quick, but hopefully now that I have all the big pieces done and ready to start bolting back together, things will go quicker. I will still have to clean and paint a lot of small parts as I go, though.

Before we moved to the Middle West, I was building a replica WWI figher plane (Nieuport 11) with four friends (we were building four identical planes), and others who had built their own planes told us to try to do something on the plane every day, no matter how small - that's how you get done.

I obviously haven't been doing that with the N (since I had the loaner on hand, there was no "sense of urgency"), but it's satisfying now to see it moving along at a brisk pace.

Ed:

I just don't know how you can find the time to do what you are doing to that 8N while working too. I find it difficult to find time to work on my 2N & I am retired!

Keep it up & keep the pictures coming I really enjoy seeing them.
