Is this the right bolt for 2N radius rod bolt? I was expecting a hex head...thats what I pulled off it?

Looked into it a bit. I see the FO4 shows a pin and cotter pin. The are the same size as the old bolts. I guess they are keepers...

Sean, If I remember right it was a square head bolt on pappys ole original arms. A regular hex head bolt is prob the cheapest way ta go.

Both our 8Ns are 1950 & have the recessed smooth top bolts, which I believe started in 1948. Before that were hex. As far as I know, anyway.

Nope! Thats what my dads 640 has and my old 861 had. Most of the 2n's and 8n's I have seen, have a hex head. My '47 2n has hex head.

It looks like my 841 rr bolt. My 9Ns have hex head bolt. My 841 measures 5". 8/9Ns measure 4 1/2". I need some for my 841 if you can't use em. HTH

Ford dealers supplied a hex head bolt 20 years ago.
